An additional advantage in the scientific and technical field of the Rhône-Alpes Optical Centre is the High-Technologies Building (BHT) in Saint-Etienne, providing the perfect welcome and development facilities for companies with projects, offering considerable flexibility in the face of constantly-changing requirements.

The Ecole Supérieure d’Optique has opened a 3rd-year course option in ‘Optics and Industry’ at the Pôle optique Rhône-Alpes, as well as a teaching laboratory: a facility dedicated to addressing issues faced by industry.

A new university course has begun at the Pôle optique Rhône-Alpes : a PRO-TOM degree course in ‘Optical Techniques and Micro-Manufacturing’.
